MIAMI — Former WSVN-Channel 7 and WPLG-Channel 10 anchorwoman Kelley Mitchell was released from a Miami hospital Friday after she suffered a collapsed lung.
She was admitted at North Shore Medical Center on Memorial Day weekend when she started being unable to breathe normally.
Mitchell was in the ICU since then as doctors closely monitored her breathing.
“I’m so happy to be out,” she said. “I should be back at work Wednesday.”
She currently works as an afternoon anchor on WLRN radio.
Mitchell, a cancer survivor, says a pneumonia may have triggered her right lung’s collapse!
