The first look at our next Disney princess is finally here!

The Mouse House first teased Moana months ago , but now they've finally given us a sneak peek (above) at the distinct look of the upcoming animated film on Twitter !
And an estimated release date as well! They tweeted:
We're thrilled to announce Moana, our 56th animated feature film coming to theatres late 2016! http://ift.tt/1ybMBoq

Unless we miss our guess, that's Polynesian princess and sea voyager Moana Waialiki right there in the picture!
She looks so unique and amazing! We can't wait for a better look!
