MIAMI — A judge in Miami has denied a protective order for Justin Bieber‘s manager, clearing the path for more potentially embarrassing revelations about the singer!
It’s yet another Gossip Extra exclusive: Scooter Braun, the L.A. talent agent who shapes Bieber’s public image, had been ordered to show up for a depo in a civil lawsuit filed here by a paparazzo before July 21!
And, get this: The lawyer who’s set to depose Braun, Aventura legal eagle Mark DiCowden , will be allowed to videotape the grilling.
This means the public will get to see Braun discussing in intimate details the business operation behind Bieber, and the reason why Bieber does what he does!
DiCowden had no comment and neither did famed attorney Roy Black , who reps Bieber and Braun in this case.
Judge Sarah Zabel made no comment in her rejection of Black’s request to shield Braun from DiCowden.
The deposition is likely to take place in Los Angeles, Gossip Extra is told.
The lawsuit was filed by photographer Jeffery Binion a year ago, just days after he was allegedly attacked by Bieber’s bodyguards on the singer’s orders.
Among the things that DiCowden wants to know is whether the violence in Bieber’s entourage was a business decision to urbanize Bieber’s milk toast image.
DiCowden already attempted to depose Braun in L.A. in April but the manager never showed up. If he doesn’t this time, he’ll likely face serious sanctions.
Black argued that DiCowden’s goal in deposing Braun was to embarrass Bieber.
DiCowden’s deposition of Bieber in the case in February caused an uproar when footage of Bieber pretending to fall asleep and freaking out when asked about on-again, off-again galpal Selena Gomez went viral.
