JUPITER — Golf star Tiger Woods has decided to call his first restaurant The Woods Jupiter Sports & Dining Club, Gossip Extra has learned.

The 5,900-square-foot restaurant, which is expected to dish out American cuisine, could be opening by next April at Harbourside Place, a new entertainment and business complex anticipated to become Jupiter’s city center.

And it’s not because Woods has been too hurt to play golf for most of this year that he’s been idle in business.

Woods, who lives in nearby Jupiter Island, says he’s been thinking about this project for a while.

“I’ve been watching Harbourside Place’s development since it broke ground more than two years ago,” Wood said in a statement, “and know that it is the perfect location for my sports and dining club.

“I envisioned a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal. I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community.

“I look forward to enjoying my restaurant as much as I hope the public will.”
