The fault in our stars was… what?!
BANNED (talk about the fault in our schools).
The school district in Riverside banned one of the biggest young adult novels written by John Green from being read in middle schools.
According to a parent, the novel’s content dealing with death and other content found within the novel is too intense for 11-13 year olds to cope with (but as said in the novel, “that’s the thing about pain, it demands to be felt” so shouldn’t these young students learn about these sensitive subjects through such a great novel?).
