It looks like Amanda Bynes may be as mentally unstable as we feared.
Apparently the time she's spent so far in a psychiatric facility hasn't been enough to rehabilitate her.

According to the latest reports, Amanda was meant to be released yesterday, but her doctors petitioned to extend her psychiatric hold by another month.
The judge must have agreed with the evidence that Amanda isn't ready to be released because the court granted a hold of 30 more days on top of the 17 she's already spent there.

The 5150 hold was initially just for 72 hours but was extended by two weeks already.
This means the court must believe Amanda is still unfit to take care of herself on her own.
So sad.
