We're just going to come out and say it: Harry Styles is a complete sweetheart.
But then again, he does make a pretty good point about writing songs that are inspired by past relationships.
The One Direction cutie and his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift have been the subject of many conversations since the songstress first released her track, Out Of the Woods.

Many speculated the jam is about their short, fiery romance — but Harebear isn't bothered by those rumors.
He actually defended the Shake It Off singer! During the group's live chat on Sunday, Harry was asked how he felt about an being inspiration for songs and he responded with:
"I think we always say, when we wrote the album, that we write from personal experiences, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, 'oh you can't write a song…' She's really good so… They're good songs. So I'm lucky in that sense."
He leapt to Swifty's defense AND complimented the singer on her AH-Mazing writing skills!?
How nice of him!
But overall, what he does say makes sense! He certainly knew what he was getting into when he started dating Tay Tay!
